You are invited to enrol your child at St Stephen’s School. Enrolment at St Stephen’s is accepted on the understanding that parents, legal guardians, carers and students appreciate and support the Catholic philosophy and ethos of the school and accept the Christian foundation of the school’s operation.
Enrolment applications must be made using the online school enrolment form and must be accompanied by the child's birth certificate/Visa document and baptismal certificate (if relevant).
The school contract agreement must also be completed fully (signed by parents/guardians). This is part of the enrolment form. For all enrolments to be effective they must have all the necessary paperwork completed and signed.
Once completed, this form will be processed at St Stephen’s School and an interview will usually take place.
If you have any questions about your child starting at St Stephen’s School, please call the school office on (07) 4693 1627.
Please see more about the enrolment procedures here.
St Stephen's School is a Parish school and finance for the maintenance and running of the school comes from:
The contributions from parents through payment of School Fees and Levies and participation in fundraising activities make up the difference between government funding (which covers about 76% of costs) and actual costs. No child, however, will be denied a Catholic Education because of a family’s inability to pay full fees. Parents who have a genuine reason for not meeting their commitment should approach the Principal to discuss the matter. All such approaches will be treated confidentially.
The Fees are reviewed and set by the School Board to service the annual School Budget.
